Razor's Property

Regret is a brutal companion.

It gnaws at your insides, steals your breath and leaves you with nothing but silence. That’s why I left. I needed space. Needed time to breathe. To figure out how to survive the pain.

But the loneliness has a way of finding me— dragging old memories back into the light. My thoughts becoming too heavy to bear. So I did what I always do when the guilt gets too loud. I went in search of a distraction, something to numb the ache.

Instead… I found my past.

The source of my pain standing right in front of me. Dancing up on the stage. Moving like sin. Seducing every man in the room.

She’s not supposed to be here. She’s supposed to be off chasing her dreams, making something of herself. Not stripping her dignity away for tips. That ever-pressing feeling creeps in, and jealousy consumes my thoughts.

She’s mine.

No one is allowed to look. No one is allowed to touch. Whether she wants me to or not, I’m going to keep her safe. I’m going to take care of her.

But… hatred protects her heart. An armor so thick it’s impenetrable.

I don’t know how to get past her walls. Don’t know how to get her to let me in. All I know is that I’m done living without her. I won’t go back to the loneliness. I won’t go back to the pain.

Even if it means locking her away with me.

Skully's Property

A monster rose from the ashes of that night.

I had it all—until it was all stolen.

Power. Purpose. A future. And her—the woman I was going to marry. The one who looked at me like I was a king. Her aqua eyes were so full of fire and love, she made me believe in always.

I was ready to build forever.

Until one gunshot ripped it all away.

Now, I'm a ghost in my own skin. Broken body. Shattered mind. A heart that barely remembers how to beat. The only thing more unbearable than the pain is the look in her eyes— the pity, the grief... the hope.

I told her to leave.

I told her to never come back.

But she didn't listen.

She's still fighting for the man I used to be. Still determined to love me. But that man is gone. I'm a monster now. And if she stays, I'll ruin her.

Link's Property

"It's not just her age standing in my way. It's our past."

LINK

She was ten years old the first time she looked up at me with those wide, terrified eyes, asking me a question no child should ever have to ask— “Will you be my dad?”

She wanted safety.

Wanted out.

She wanted me to save her from the life she was a prisoner to.

But I couldn’t.

Not then.

Life and circumstance were not in my favor. So I did the only thing I could. I walked away and watched over her from afar.

Now, twelve years later, she’s standing on the doorstep of the Savage Knights MC, no longer a child— but a woman. Still scared, still desperate, and still in need of my protection.

I gave her a place to stay. Promised she’d be safe. But I never expected her to unravel me the way she does.

She’s off limits. Untouchable.

But every time she’s near, it gets harder to remember why I’m supposed to say no.
